I’m going to leave this as a sticky post so we always open up with a Sugar Cookie Recipe!  And NO!  I do NOT know Mary!  She must have been a friend of my mother’s, somewhere in the distant past, in one of the many cities or towns we lived in.  But whoever she is, or was, these are goooooood cookies! There is a cookie that i don’t know the name of i’ve heard it called snawballs butterballs and lots of things it is a round ball cookie i think with nuts and sprinkled with powdered suger. it is my favorite i only know of one prson who makes it and she is stingy with her recipie. does anyone know wht i am talking about and willing to give me the recipie??

my baking sheets went MIA, and i need to make 12 dozen cookies by tomorrow. any suggestions? would tinfoil work?

I promised to make to make Halloween Cookies using the same technique for my grandchildren that I did for my son. He was in kindergarten when the 1978 cookies came on the market. He wants me to make them for my grandchildren because he has such fond memories of them and I can find the cookie cutters in my basement but not the directions that came in the box. I know Corn Syrup was used with paste food coloring and painted on the cookies in vibrant colors, then left to dry. HELP! I am baking th cookies today and need to figure this all out before next Saturday!

My husband LOVES the easy no bake cookie recipe with cocoa, oats, and peanut butter. I’ve made him these cookies a few times. My question is, are there any great recipes for no-bake cookies that have NO chocolate or cocoa in them? I am not a big fan of lemon or apple in cookies either. However, I love nuts, oatmeal, honey, and syrup. Any recipes would be appreciated. Thanks!

But any other tips out there from amateur bakers???????

i found it on the web b4 but can’t find it now. i no it had round cookies 4 the wheels & lady fingers i believe 4 the cars. any 1 know where i can find it?

In my town the Wed night before Thanksgiving the city turns on the Christmas lights on main street. The streets are decorated. Here it is a tradition to put your tree up the day after thanksgiving. I would still want the pie for desert, but I do not think Christmas cookies would be rushing it. Yes there are turkey cookies that could be baked. You can also look at it this way. When there are Halloween decorations in the store they are already bringing out the Christmas decorations. I think people should bake more then on the holidays. I have always wanted to have a Christmas in July.

My personal favorite’s are chocolate chip and penutbutter.
